Blog on Drupal Atlanta (DA) site

I noticed that the site is configured to allow BLOGging. Just wanted to know if there are stipulations on what can/should be blogged, what effect a blog posted here has on the DA community, etc.

1. Is the blogging just for DA members who have been to meetings, or is it open to any who register?
2. Should the blog have something to do with DA, Drupal, PHP, etc or will it be utilized for personal blogs as well?
3. Is DA or it's members responsible (or liable) for statements made in a blog? (e.g. political statements, or statements that are intended to be helpful but end up crashing someone's site.)

Terms of Use

The response to this question is simple.

The answer is not.

It begs the question: what are the 'Terms of Use' for this site?

Short term we need a few disclaimers.

Longer term we need a 'terms of use' statement for the site.

Whew, those are some thorough questions

Right now, blogs are supposed to be for members only. The organization is so new that I'm not sure we need to worry about blog comments. But the blog SHOULD be used for Drupal related messages. If this access starts to be misused, then we may revisit the issue.

Since we are not an "official" organization, I don't see how Drupal members could be held liable for anything said. (with the possible exception of the person who said them)

Is this related to any specific concern?
